The Washington Hebrew Congregation Primary School provides children
in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten with a well-rounded, balanced
and enriched educational experience. With our small classes and
flexible groupings, our teachers and resource staff are able to
offer a variety of teaching methods and materials. We are committed
to maximizing each child’s learning potential while encouraging and
nurturing our students to become eager learners and confident
individuals.

drives for the Abram Simon Elementary School in Washington, DC.
Families have the opportunity to participate in many activities
including Lag B’Omer Field Day,
Kabbalat Shabbat with Birthday Blessings and a special year
end Havdalah service.
Educational Support Staff
On-site staff includes speech and occupational therapists. Our
off-site staff includes a special needs consultant group. These
staff members are available to work with classes, small groups,
individual children and parents.
Health and Safety Our school has a full-time registered nurse on-site who is available to assist families with medication administration during school hours. In addition to staffing the health room, the school nurse teaches a health and nutrition unit during the school year. We also employ off-duty Montgomery County police officers to provide a security presence whenever children are in our school. Curriculum We invite you to learn more about our Kindergarten program.
