We believe play is the focus of childhood and our summer programs emphasize:

Outdoor activities: including water play and state-of-the-art playground equipment.

Arts and crafts: using materials that encourage the children to express their creativity.

Music and creative movement: giving campers an opportunity to sing, dance, move and exercise their bodies.

Dramatics: encouraging campers to use their imagination through acting and storytelling.

Nature study: exploring the world around us through a hands-on science program.

Sports instruction: providing a gentle introduction to team play and skills development.  Some activities specifically designed for the young child include basketball, soccer, hockey and baseball.

Special theme days: adding to summer fun, special days include Water Olympics, Pirates of Potomac, Camp Carnival, Keetov Kapers, Happy Birthday USA and more.

Cultural events: each week campers have an opportunity to enjoy a special on-site program.  This might include a puppet show, a musical production or a hands-on science event.

Jewish values: Jewish values and customs are strengthened each week with a camp-wide Shabbat celebration, along with a visit from one of our rabbis or cantors.
